When I look back on my life. The only big mistake I made was just this. I chased the money and wealth. What I should have chased instead was financial freedom and the wealth within life.

In my eyes, there is a big difference between chasing wealth compared to financial freedom.

When I was younger. I chased after the money. My career and life decisions and choices were based on the amount I was getting paid and growing the numbers in the bank account. I didn’t care about this thing called job satisfaction. My satisfaction came with a pay increase. I also felt the same when it came to happiness in my life. I figured with the pay cheque that I was bringing in. I would be able to do whatever I wanted. But for some reason, no matter how much money I brought in or had in the bank. I never did what I wanted. I was always too busy trying to figure out how I could get more. I figured the more I had, the happier I would be. Some people also call this… greed.

I would wake up every morning and check the bank and investment accounts when I had my morning coffee. I also did this throughout the day. I always knew down to the penny what my net worth was. Now I don’t care. After all, it’s just a number that I can’t take with me, when my time comes. I have everything in life that I need and is important to me, such as the people…
